Soko Ethical Sustainable Jewelry
Designed in San Francisco, handcrafted in Kenya, and using recycled materials- Soko is truly an ethical and sustainable jewelry company. This women-lead brand is motivated by purpose, "to empower marginalized artisans and the communities in which they live". Employing over 2,300 artisans in 282 workshops across Kenya, Soko artisans earn 5x's more than the average workshop, and they are committed to creating an improved artisan business, safety practices, skill development and quality.
Using only ethically-sources materials such as, recycled brass (a material that is easily accessible to the artisans), natural & ethically-sourced horn (a by-product from other industries that would otherwise be wasted), and wood (artisans purchase these small off-cuts from sustainable Soko partners that would otherwise be discarded)- you can feel good about wearing your Soko jewelry!
